How much does Worthberry cost?
It's free during the private beta. After launch, Seedling stays free with ads, and Sprout, Ripe and Harvest are $14.99, $27.99 and $49.99 a month, with one month free when you pay yearly. Nobody is charged without agreeing to it. See pricing.
Which banks work?
Anything Akahu connects to, which includes ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Westpac, Kiwibank, Co-op, TSB and more. If your bank isn't linkable, import a CSV statement or enter a balance. Our guide on how bank syncing works has the detail.
Is it safe to link my bank?
You sign in to your bank through Akahu, so your password never reaches us, and Worthberry only reads: it can't move money. Our team never sees your balances. You can disconnect at any time.
What happens when the beta ends?
During the private beta you get everything Worthberry does, free, except bank linking: we're waiting on accreditation from Akahu, the open banking platform we use to connect to New Zealand banks, so for now you add accounts by importing CSV statements. When the beta ends, you choose a plan and keep the features that plan includes. If you don't choose one, you move to Seedling, our free plan. Nothing you've added is deleted: anything your plan doesn't include, like bank sync, property, KiwiSaver, investments or crypto on Seedling, is hidden with a prompt to upgrade, and comes back if you do. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any charges start.
Is this financial advice?
No. Worthberry shows information about your money so you can understand it. It doesn't recommend what to do. For advice, talk to a licensed financial adviser.
Is there an app?
Worthberry works in any browser and adds to your phone's home screen like an app. App Store and Google Play versions come after the beta.
